Memebox Superbox #41 My Cute Wishlist

Cute packaging…. My downfall every time! Would anyone in their right mind buy a box of products with no theme other than that they’re cute? Ummm YES!!!!! Actually hundreds of women would. Why? Because we love pretty things. Just for reference I got the following pretties from Memebox.

So y’all wanna know. Just how cute we’re talking. Pretty damn cute actually!

Pure Smile Neco Punch Point Pad Hibiscus and Lemon Grass 17ml x 2ea (rrp $2)
This is a gel patch that you can put absolutely anywhere you like for a bit of extra hydration. Not to mention the cute paw prints on them. So this came with both packs and in them is 10 pads, 20 pads in total if maths isn’t your bag. If I had a kitten you can bet there would be a picture on here of me with them on my cheeks and little Mittens checking them out. Alas I am not allowed a kitten due to have two small boys whose understanding of gentle isn’t quite up to scratch.

A;T fox Moisturising Gel Cream Gyoolpy Tea 10ml (rrp $6)
Lemon scented skin cream that lives in a mini cupcake. Yes please! Honestly how cute is that?! You might also be interested to know that there is a café in Korea that actually serves Gyoolpy tea, it isn’t just a translation gone way wrong.

Beauty People Snow White Special Edition Season 2 (rrp $54)
I SO hoped this was in there. This is a super cute metal tin with 5 different eye liners in it. People have been known to get a bit crazy trying to get their hands on the tins alone and they are pretty expensive to purchase on their own. I haven’t tried these ones out as I actually plan on putting them into my Sister’s Christmas present. How organized am I right?

Etude Missing U Hand Cream 30ml (rrp $5)
You’ll know from previous posts that I’m not all that fussed with hand creams. Except this is a bit different. Have you ever seen hand creams that are quite this cute? I think maybe Tony Moly fruit shaped ones are close but these still win. I got the little Penguin who is Baby Powder scented. He’s nice but I would have gone crazy for the Panda. They’re fairly cheap to buy though and no reason why I couldn’t collect them all if the price is right!

Pure Smile Muddy Girl 15g (rrp $1)
A mud mask that loves you. That’s a bit sweet. You can buy these from the Memeshop in a set of 5 where you get to try each individual type. I got the blue one. I have zero Korean skills but my money is on the Charcoal version. Either way it’s just like other mud packs that you use. But I bet your regular mud pack isn’t perfect for travel and loves you as much as this one will.

Etude Sweet Recipe Candy Stick 2g (rrp $5)
A candy cane lip gloss, and not at Christmas time. A little bit uncool yes but also very cute. I of course got the Sour Lemon Candy one. Lemon candy cane lip gloss. Not quite what I had in mind. Turns out I am prejudging and actually it’s a nice product and doesn’t go on yellow. Still wouldn’t buy it out of season though. What a snob I am.

A;T Fox Whitening Capsule Cream Jasoyup Herbal Tea 10ml (rrp $6)
A little purple cupcake with more cream! This one is a whitening cream but rather than turning you albino, its purpose is more like evening out skin tone.

A;T Fox Lifting Cream Black Tea 10ml (rrp $6)
A pink cupcake with cream! You might think cupcake overkill. You would be wrong!!! This one is different again and is supposed to be good for fine lines and terrible under eye emergencies. Have I mentioned that I have 3 little cupcakes now? Oh my cuteness!!!

Kocostar Split End Therapy 8ml (rrp $6)
The least cute thing in the box. But very useful! And it does come with a cute little hair band for while you have it in. Might just hold on to that for further use. It’s a little bit Minnie Mouse looking and I like that.

Overall
Did buying a box purely for cute looking items live up to my expectations? That would be YES!!! I have no regrets buying essentially a lucky dip that comes in pretty boxes. Even better was I got a few items I had been really interested in trying or was going to buy anyway. A suggestion was put to me that even after I use the products from the cupcakes and penguin I could just refill with what I like. So not only are they totally adorable but I can reuse them. Winning!

Would you buy a box purely because it was filled with cute looking things? Do you get distracted by pretty and shiny things like I do? Is 3 cupcakes too many? Would you buy a candy cane out of season? Let me know!
