Black Friday is a crazy shopping phenomenon that occurs the day after Thanksgiving (American celebration = great shopping for everyone else). There are also Cyber Monday sales for the Monday after Thanksgiving but today we are here because of how Fortune Cookie Soap celebrated Black Friday this year with a flat 35% off their entire product range. This in itself is pretty significant actually. Usually for big sales the FCS team will do 50% off all Fortune Cookie Soaps and the majority of other items are Buy 2 get 1 Free. This means almost everything gets sold out and people are cart-jacked left, right and centre. This year with the flat 35% things tended to stick around a lot longer and happy shoppers could get a nice little variety of items.

Cupcake Perfume Oil 2 Dram
It seems fitting that I would like this scent. It really does smell like fresh buttery vanilla cupcakes. I don't love it when it first goes on but it does even out into a really nice scent.
I thought I would love this. I was so sure......... It has such a large following and it sounds perfect. But I don't. Insert sobbing here. I was so upset when I put it on and it just didn't work on my skin. Such a shame!
This stuff was snaffled every time it came back into stock after it's limited release. This tells me it's awesome. A lot of the Fan Group ladies have said that if you use it when you can feel a migraine coming on it can help the severity and in some cases make it go away. My grandma gets lots of headaches and migraines ("It's not a Tumour!") so I got one for her and one for myself for once I go back to work in February. Headaches haven't been too bad for me recently but once I'm in an office all day again I have no doubt this little baby is going to get a solid workout.
Swirly Twirly Gumdrops Deodorant
Yay! Yay! Yay! I was converted to these veggie protein deodorants after a Wendy Bird sample in a previous Soap Box and I love that I've been able to stock up on a couple in some delish scents. Deodorant is not something you want to run out of.... especially in Queensland!
I have been wanting to try this for awhile. My sister was asking about the foaming soaps and this is the only product I've seen in this scent. At first I was like yeah it's nice enough, and then, I cut up about 7 cloves of garlic and some chilli. If there is one smell I can never get off my hands even after washing 10 times it's garlic. This stuff literally only took one go. ONE! I am now converted. This stuff is The Shiz.
PJP OCD Hand Sanitizer 225ml/7oz
I had this one in a smaller purse size in the old packaging but it was almost empty and rather than ever run out I can now refill my purse size and also have a large one for at home. I say at home but my hubby has been sniffing around and says he likes it..... it may end up going to work with him when I'm not looking I think!
I got this scent in the whipped cream from the soap box and loved it. It was rad. Hand Sanitizers last forever so are a great way to hang on to a scent you love.
I have bought this one for my hubby. He has an on again off again relationship wioth head and shoulders and I had him converted to a peppermint and tea tree shampoo awhile back but he relapsed..... I'm going to try with this and hopefully he will leave the H&S behind for good.
This is the matching item for the shampoo bar but I'm thinking that my hubby is unlikely to use it. Or will use it at a rate of 3 shampoo to every 1 conditioner. Ah well, it's handy to have and as long as it's stored well it will keep.
This is a newbie for FCS and I think it's fantastic. Rather expensive for an everyday laundry powder but I'm only using it on my big fluffy white bath towels that the kids don't come near so it's going to last me awhile. I use a tablespoon in each wash and my towels come out clean and white without napisan or an overwhelming laundry detergent smell.
There was a lot of crazy attempts to source Craps! after it was gone from the Casino range so I really wanted to try these out. I have since realized that they don't work that well in Australia. Apparently toilets in the US are always filled with water and the whole thing drains rather than a minimal amount of water in the bowl unless you're flushing. Yes, this is TMI but if you're an Aussie and considering these, maybe don't. We do not get the full effect.

My Black Friday Haul
Really happy with it. I love FCS stuff and while shipping hurts greatly it isn't enough to stop me buying their products. Especially not for a sale as good as this one!!!
